The formal inauguration of the National Youth Network took place at the PSTC Complex in Gazipur with active participation from youth representatives. Organized by one of Bangladesh’s prominent NGOs, the Population Services and Training Center (PSTC), and supported by the International Planned Parenthood Federation, this milestone initiative aims to create a collaborative platform conducive to empowering the youth across the country.

The primary objective of the network is to advance the agenda of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh, focusing on raising awareness among young people and adolescents, as well as the communities in which they live.

The network aims to ensure the inclusion of youth and marginalized populations while promoting sexual and reproductive health rights for all.

As part of the network’s framework, its members formed a seven-member executive committee on Saturday, December 7. The committee includes Priyota Mondal as President, Faiza Anila Rahman as Vice President, and Sabik Rahman as General Secretary.

This leadership team will play a critical role in driving the mission of the network forward.

It is noteworthy that PSTC is a non-profit, non-governmental development organization. For more then 45 years, it has been working consistently across various districts of Bangladesh to improve the quality of life for the country’s underprivileged population.
